Global Recognition for Excellence in Mediation Training

The International Centre for Appropriate Dispute Resolution and Prevention (ICADRP) is proud to announce that its mediation training program was officially approved as an IMI Certified Mediator Training Program (CMTP) in February 2024 by the International Mediation Institute (IMI).

Program Overview

The ICADRP CMTP is delivered in-person in Pakistan and is accessible in multiple languages, including:

• English
• Urdu
• Sindhi
• Gujarati
• Punjabi
• Pashto

This multilingual approach ensures greater accessibility, inclusivity, and regional impact, enabling a diverse group of professionals to benefit from internationally recognised mediation training.

International Standards & Recognition

Certified Mediator Training Programs (CMTPs) are designed to deliver high-quality, practice-oriented training that meets rigorous international standards established by IMI.

These standards are:

• Independently developed through global stakeholder consultation
• Guided by IMI Task Forces comprising leading practitioners and experts
• Recognised by intergovernmental bodies such as the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ)

This recognition reflects ICADRP’s commitment to excellence, consistency, and global best practices in mediation training.

Pathway to Global Recognition

Participants who successfully complete the ICADRP CMTP:

• Become eligible to apply for recognition as IMI Qualified Mediators
• Gain access to global professional networks and opportunities
• May benefit from initiatives such as the Young Mediators Initiative (YMI), including mentorship and capacity-building programs
